after months of painful waiting, I got my NUS application results... I was quite prepared to accept whatever offers NUS gives me... so yeah I got into
That also means that Medicine and Dentistry have rejected me :( but since it's part of God's plan, I must learn to submit my ambitions to Him. (Maybe this is part of the breaking process haha..)
I must still thank all my teachers who have one way or another rushed the letters of recommendation for me within a very short period of time: namely, Mrs. Ke, Mr. Charles Low (both from HCI) and Ms. Chua (from NJC)!!!
I thank all my brothers and sisters-in-Christ for praying for me during this period of waiting.
To all my friends who have received offers from their desired faculty, CONGRATS!! and have fun and enjoy your new stage of life :)
To those who got rejected, dun be too sad k? You may find that the course that was offered to you is going to be a better one :)
ALL THE BEST!!! God bless :)

Ohio!!!
Hello!!! It's been 2 months since I last posted something here... gosh it's really rotting and I think I should do something about the blogskin.. haha
yup yup, this is my last week in Hwa Chong.. I had a mixture of feelings... To be honest, I do enjoy talking to my students individually or as a small group, but as a whole class.. wow.... I couldn't control.. it's like locking me up in an EXOTIC mini jungle-in-the-classroom.. you will see the whole class screeching in extreme excitement the moment they caught me entering their classrooms... haha shall not name names but you know who you are... Ya.. they are very 'lovely' indeed.. but hey they are really a creative batch.. they never fail to remind me of my old days.. I was in 3B 4 years ago.. Yes, boys being in a boy school have not many reasons not to break the school rules.. It's a period of significant change for them both physically and psychologically... you will definitely not see a bunch of JC dudes behaving like that.. ahha.. understandable.. :)
I must say that I do enjoy teaching though the opportunity given to me was limited since I'm a Teacher Assistant and not Relief Teacher...
---(bell rings.. gotta go for lesson) ---
Back, just came back from 2B.. Since they will be taking their Chem exam tomorrow I got them to play with Chemistry.. haha gave them QA diagrams and we even played hang-man until all of a sudden their Chem teacher is outside of the classroom. It is always my desire to make full use of their lesson time or free period so that they will not slack away:)
---(end of just-came-back-from-lesson talk)---
I thank God for putting me back in Hwa Chong :)
I thank Mrs. Ke for being such a wonderful boss who have taken care of me greatly.. even though you are the boss, you exhibit such humility that deserves respect from all your employee :)
I thank Mr. Sim and Miss Pek for their company most of the time... for letting me join in their 'gang' and go have tea and flourish me with food :P .. for their jokes and juicy news.. for making my life in Hwa Chong colourful and fruitful :)
I also wanna thank all other teachers, including my former form teacher Mrs. Seck for guiding me when I was new to the school :)
Not forgetting Mr. Charles Low who have taken precious time to review and vet my letter of recommendation for Medicine faculty application :)
Now I am still waiting for my NUS posting... it should be up by this week.. if not next week.. praying really hard now... it's either Medicine, Dentistry or Pharmacy.. Dear God please choose which one suits me best for Your plan :)
