waht a day... for the first time in my JC life... I was LATE... i woke up at 7:33 a m this morning and wow.. i nearly had a heart attack. haha.. Of course i cheonged to school immediately after changing my clothes. my mouths stank... :P oh wells. i manage to be there on time :)
on my way cheonging to school. suddenly this big guy came to me, called me 'Kian Huat' and hugged me... It was Kevin Chow! he was my schoolmate back two years ago.. he had gone back to KL to complete his A levels 2 years ago and now he's back ! haha.. another heart attack.. but i jsut told him that i was late for school and siam immediately :( I felt bad!! now i dun even noe where he is!!!! he doesnt have a phone with him i suppose.. ARGH! shall try to find him tmr :)
anyway.. NJ's National Day Celebration was like.. erm.. not too bad.. even though some of classmates really dose off :S The bands are .. ok... but for me...i'm not the band type... couldn't stnad the soloists shouting their lines... :S the drums, the guitars and the keyboard are GOOD :) (haha good job airbus : trudy and sheena!!) .. i noe that the results were shocking but i think the third band was more deserving because they have a more decent soloist (not that she is very very good, but just acceptable).. oh well... it's not that bad lah :) so i'm quite happy :)
quite impressed at what the councillors from different houses did for their cheers :) kudos for solaris and aqua :)
after the celebration, went back to my hostel to bathe while the class was deciding on where to go (haha.. s16's is always slow at deciding where to have class outing :P) in the end we went douby ghout and had pepper lunch that XL recommended.. had beef rice with curry powder on hot plate.. when served, the beef they provide is still raw. you have to cook them yourself! interesting.. ya.. so i had a fun time mixing the raw beef with the rice and some special soya sauce. OISHI!
went back to sleep after lunch, all the way until 5 plus. then follow my cell to this Love Singapore prayer concert at Singapore INdoor Stadium. haha.. prayed for Singapore in different aspects: the church, the government, the market and the media. It's touching to see so many ppl from different churches coming together to pray for the revival of Singapore!
had supper at geylang. wow i saw real prostitutes there! scary.. haha.. now i can see for myself the red light district.. but the main focus should be on the food. We had fried beef hor fun, you tiao and taiwanese mian xian. phew.. i didn;t know that singaporean food can be so uniquely delicious! must bring my family there next time!
haha... good enough for one day!! what a happy day and Thank God that I'm happy today :)
