HAPPY TEACHERS' DAY!!
heyo it's teachers' day today and it happens to coincide with Malaysia's National day too... haha :)
today it was very wet... torrential rain came down like no body's business and wow.. by the time i reached school.. my bottom half was soaked! haha.. but it's ok :) cos i manage to keep the teachers' day thank you board dry! yays!
today's performers were not too bad! Kudos for the IP1 a cap group!! haha.. as usual NJ mikes really put people down.. but can tell that you guys can create music on stage! vp was a bit soft tho.. but i assume it's the mikes again... the skit was.. oh mans... so lame.. ahha... and didn't know that mr. chris ho can be so happening haha.. her ip2 class must be spoilt!!!
anyways.. went back to chinese high after celebration and yays i saw mrs. ooi, mrs. seck, shen lao shi and mrs. ke!! i even saw mrs. teo!! my sec 2 science teacher... wah she still look very young. :P haha... interesting fact: i told her that she's my science teacher's science teacher cos she taught mr. chew my sec 3 chem teacher and similarly in NJ, mrs Yeo, my current chem teacher taught mr. chew b4!!! haha... it's a small world indeed !!!! but for the rest of the teachers, i didn't really get a chance to meet them :P oh wells. surely miss them! haha so happy taht they look the same!!
it was a perfect day to sleep .. the weather's so cooling!! wow.. slept from 1 to 5 :P so shuang!!! dun intend to mug today .. so starting tomorrow.. mugging mode on turbo :)
btw this morning b4 i zao for school i took pictures of the thank you boards :) For Mrs. Yeo, Ms. Chee, Mr. Teo and Mrs. Thia!

NARUTO!!!!
wow... guess I'm joining the Naruto gang in my class now, together with XL, aaron, Hongtuck and .. who else har? hahah.. well it's certainly not the correct time to be addicted to such an anime but it's good for destressing tho :) but LOUIS you need to SLEEP!!!! haha... :)
sian... almost everyday i mug in school until very late... made an attempt to enjoy mugging... well it's friends that keep you going.. so ... i love study group :)
when i came back from school just now, wow.. there was a letter on my table.. oh man it's a warning letter for my debt.. haha.. i owe the school a lot of money!! i.e. miscellaneous fees unpaid since march 2005. can you imagine that.. haha so i went off straight to coro to withdraw money and hope i can settle this by tomorrow if not.. they will expel me or something! YIKES!!!

Mug free day
today's a special day... i didn't mug at all!!! yays!!! the whole day can be summarised as below:
cell.. naruto... carpenter's tool concert.. dinner with andrew at Thai Express .. and more Naruto! :)
ahha.. so slack.. but it's good to slack :)
Grr.. why the connection so slow.. still waiting for the whole of the episode to finish loading.. AH!! can't wait liao!!! anyway... i only started Naruto like 2 days ago? aha.. i reach the 16th episode already!!! so cools :)

Fun day!
i enjoyed PE today very very much and i really think that i have a super happening class with so many fun-loving people :) i always enjoy every single moment with them. be it mugging or sports or fellowship at the canteen... it's a good thing that i can speak to everyone in the class. Thank you God for putting me in NJC 05S16.
maybe njchoir has like pulled me away from class a little .. but yeah... 05S16 is so funky!!!! love it :)
later of the day went to meet Ka Yi!! She'll be leaving for the US tomorrow and gosh... i'm glad that she still bother to come and look for me :) i treasure this friendship very much :) Take care over there and all the best K :)
I am obsessed with smiley faces... hmm... i think i have drawn at least a smiley face on the lecture notes of almost everyone in the class.. (except jerry or ferdi or vivien..) hmm.. what's stopping me? shall do so b4 i leave nj.. YAYS!!! but today.. I DIDN'T! cos i was so sleepy during chem lect.. it was food chem.. so boring.. haha..
OH ya!! heard from my roommie that Ting Hui, my super great friend in England, did superbly well for the A levels!!! 3As and 1 B and that is like so cool!!!!!!! knowing her quite ok.... she got an A for math!!!!! this is very very inspiring!! must motivate myself to do as well as her :)

the problem of overpopulation in the pond and the big black plastic bag
today was a really.... cold day... torrential rains came 'running down amain' (hmm is this correct usage :P) wow.. haha... loads of water around... and a lot of lectures too... should have brought my jacket!
something interesting: on my way out form LT5., i happened to see some pool maintenance worker maintaining the pool. duh. and guess what.. it was a fishie massacre!! they were removing fishes or 'kois' from the pond at NJ's central plaza. The nicer looking ones were the placed in a big blue tank temporarily and the rest.. wow.. they ended up in a big black plastic bag. (tongue twister) i saw the poor fishies bouncing and jumping on the floor till their deaths. reminds me of how a magikarp is. but isn't cruel to solve the problem of overpopulation of the pond? was there other ways?
btw for those who don't know. there's this legendary dolphine-sized koi or some kind of fish dwelling in that pond. i saw it frantically struggling for survival when the pond water level was low... Its current condition is unknown to me.. is it still alive living there? or is it already in fishie heaven?

Tough day
MRS TEAI is back from the US!!! haha so happy to see her :) haha.. actually tan wei not that bad lah.. it's just that he needs more experience :) dunno why.. so happy to see mrs. Teai smile.. hhaha but the funny thing is , mrs yeo was sent to the US attending some similar course that mrs. Teai attended :P Then we have this new teacher called Mr. Foo relief teaching us, haha.. heard that he's from Imperial College! so zai... shall see what he has.
the most memorial thing for the day is... BIO S test!!! oh man 2.5 half hours of brain cracking and continuous writing.. this is seriously no joke.. considering the fact that i'm noit the s paper type.. i was just unfortunate to not get out of the system early enough.. AHH!! but have to admit it was a crazy experience... i see double immediately after the test. haha :Pand it ends at 720pm! gosh.. and i missed the Grad Night Audition loh!!! haha.. but happy to see that there are so many choir groups performing :) SENIORS ARE SO PROUD OF YOU GUYS! but i hope ttbb can get in if not... DUN GET A CHANCE TO PERFORM for the year :(

what a blast!
national day was a blast!!!!! so is post national day holiday :)
finish reading "the five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom this morning. a very cool book and sometimes thought-provoking book that reminds us that we are all inter-related in one way or another :) i wouldnt go into details since i am not really capable of but it just make my life happier after reading the book :)
then i went out with Zhao Wei (he's a guy k.. one of my closest friend in chinese high). watched "click". LOVE IT! not because i enjoy the parts where Adam Sandler's dog did something weird, but i like to see the consequence of a man controlling the speed of his own life. Sometimes life moves so fast that you will miss the essential parts and you'll regret eventually. haha.. the main thing i learn from this show is that FAMILY always comes before work :)
oh haha.. went deep with him in our conversation. we are all growing and we are facing problems. sharing them with friends is a good thing to do...

the day b4 Singapore's 41st Bday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE :)
waht a day... for the first time in my JC life... I was LATE... i woke up at 7:33 a m this morning and wow.. i nearly had a heart attack. haha.. Of course i cheonged to school immediately after changing my clothes. my mouths stank... :P oh wells. i manage to be there on time :)
on my way cheonging to school. suddenly this big guy came to me, called me 'Kian Huat' and hugged me... It was Kevin Chow! he was my schoolmate back two years ago.. he had gone back to KL to complete his A levels 2 years ago and now he's back ! haha.. another heart attack.. but i jsut told him that i was late for school and siam immediately :( I felt bad!! now i dun even noe where he is!!!! he doesnt have a phone with him i suppose.. ARGH! shall try to find him tmr :)
anyway.. NJ's National Day Celebration was like.. erm.. not too bad.. even though some of classmates really dose off :S The bands are .. ok... but for me...i'm not the band type... couldn't stnad the soloists shouting their lines... :S the drums, the guitars and the keyboard are GOOD :) (haha good job airbus : trudy and sheena!!) .. i noe that the results were shocking but i think the third band was more deserving because they have a more decent soloist (not that she is very very good, but just acceptable).. oh well... it's not that bad lah :) so i'm quite happy :)
quite impressed at what the councillors from different houses did for their cheers :) kudos for solaris and aqua :)
after the celebration, went back to my hostel to bathe while the class was deciding on where to go (haha.. s16's is always slow at deciding where to have class outing :P) in the end we went douby ghout and had pepper lunch that XL recommended.. had beef rice with curry powder on hot plate.. when served, the beef they provide is still raw. you have to cook them yourself! interesting.. ya.. so i had a fun time mixing the raw beef with the rice and some special soya sauce. OISHI!
went back to sleep after lunch, all the way until 5 plus. then follow my cell to this Love Singapore prayer concert at Singapore INdoor Stadium. haha.. prayed for Singapore in different aspects: the church, the government, the market and the media. It's touching to see so many ppl from different churches coming together to pray for the revival of Singapore!
had supper at geylang. wow i saw real prostitutes there! scary.. haha.. now i can see for myself the red light district.. but the main focus should be on the food. We had fried beef hor fun, you tiao and taiwanese mian xian. phew.. i didn;t know that singaporean food can be so uniquely delicious! must bring my family there next time!
haha... good enough for one day!! what a happy day and Thank God that I'm happy today :)

The problem with profanities
Just an opinion of mine about the "problem with profanities"
I realised that i am a person who is strongly against people swearing or cursing or leaking yucky comments. No offence to those who are like that but... what is the point of doing so?
Some people just do it out of anger.. that one i can understand .. but a person who truly knows how to control his or her emotions and image will understand that.
But some people are just.. so used to it that it seems nothing.. yes.. in this world that we are living today, the F word and all the offensive terms are no longer tabooed. It like universal... It reflects how poorly educated you are as a person!! I really cannot stand vulgarities... what is the point?
It's such an unrefined, coarse thing to do...
Maybe you grew out in that kind of unfriendly environment, but if you really put in effort to "de-profanitise" yourself, the world will be a slightly better place (not that the world is very nice.. heaven is! :) )
so to all my frens, no offence to you guys but, yeah... changing early is much better than doing so late.. haha... :)
I know that my writing really sucks :S can't write as eloquently and persuasively as other very zai people.. wow really admire their writing skills :)
Anyway. to all the J2s... must jiayou for Prelims k :)

the situation now
Hey people... wow... Louis has not been updating his blog for like.. hmm.. 3 months? Louis needs to update!!!!! grr..
prelim's around the corner and as every njcians do.. they either go back and mug or they mug in school. I'm more to the mugging-in-school type!! Life after choir sucks... you have no reasons to ignore your school work, you have no reasons to not score well for exams. My voice is getting rusty :S
Somemore, my class is a stream class.. ahha with all the zai people like qihan, aaron, weekim, wanzhen, jerry, ferdi.. and so many more zao people in the same class as you, you cannot afford to lose out... Somemore S papers are giving me a headache, especially with Bio S. I was super depressed when i received my Bio CT2 results.. a lousy O8... i have never get that kind of results for Bio before.. :( but it's better to receive it now though... motivation :)
Hmmm... at least now i have more time to catch up :) and now... I'm in the beatbox craze with xianglong.. :P actually i'm more to Vocal purcussion then beat box.. Still trying to perfect my snare but haha.. :P saliva keeps coming out in droplets ... my classmates complained about it too :P haha someone said that i'm just making random noises!!! haha... sad!!!
there's so many thing i want to learn. i wanna learn guitar. although i only know how to play one song. and i only know how to play 4 different chords!! very shallow.. shall buck up after A levels!!
i realised that i start to have mood swings.. on day where i'm high.. i'm REALLY high.. can detect from my pitch even when i'm talking to mrs. yeo :) but there are some days when i feel very lonely and quiet.. ahha.. guess i'm entering the angsty period of growth now.. a bit slow but at least i'm in it now :)
