Hey all, yeah bio and maths are over!!!! 2 more to go.. i shall tell you what i did and think today!!!!! yups.. i woke up at 6:30 am today despite Nj's is less than 630 meters (estimate one.. cos i can see NJ from my room and i can se HWA CHONG boarding from NJ) from HC boarding... too nervous mah.. can't help it... so i went to bathe.. and yah.. you dun need description for that.. yups... then at around 6:45pm, i'm already clad in NJ.. then pray for a while.. after all it's exam :) .. later i took up my bio file.. which is (measuring now..ok got it ) 5.1 cm thick.. if i were to include all my ex-HC notes.. it will be (measuring again) an additional 2.0 cm.. haha.. wow.. trees are indeed put into GOOD use... sigh.. and it weighs .. a fraction of prashan? haha.. joking :) yups.. it was damn heavy.. well can't help it.. a bio student's ordeal.. by the time i reach NJ. i was wet (quote from Priscilla)... it happens all the time.. yups .. then ast forward.... zup..... and here i was... in the classroom.. i was thinking that the math paper was going to be easy until i start staring at the paper and scratching my _______ (fill in the blanks yourself).. nj math paper.. can;t expect much.. a B should suffice.. but i'm not sure whether i can get that too.. where's my A?!? heaven? sigh... anyway, it was really really bad... blanks here and there.... irritating well, i didn;t want it to end.. cos i think i can solve them but.. bo si kan liao.. gin lah!!!! ya... well.. that's life.. you can never complete everything on time perfectly.. and that;'s when i hand in the paper "pissed"fully.. at least the chicken rice i had after that manage to cool me down.. after that.. start mugging mugging with my frens... i always enjoy mugging with frens.. yea :) haha.. nothing much to say unless you want me to regurgitate whatever that i have remembered.. "Non-cyclic phosphorylation ... amino-acyl-tRNA synthase... ".. sounds as esoteric as it sucks... well let;s zoom into the hall this time round.. at least it was air-conditioned. but the lightings w ere intimidating.. gives me the creeps. especially it promotes myopia as nitrate promotes the growth of algae.. which will block up the sunlight from reaching the sea weed and then they cannot photosynthesise and then they DIE.. this phenomenon is known as eutrophication.. whatever man let's go on.. no point mugging at taht time.. too late already.. whatever that is in your mind, you will just have to SQUEEZE everything out on the spot and ANSWER the question.. but instead i question myself when i look at the question paper.. MCQ.. 25 questions to be done in 30 minutes... what to do.. rush loh.. occasionally, questions that i was unsure of i will just put a tiny tick beside it.. and circle a possible answer first.. kept it in view and will refer back to it later.. however, in the end.. i didn;t have time to check them out again.. sigh... nevermind.. 15 minutes later, paper 2 came to my hand.. i hoped that it was doable.. and ya.. quite true.. and perhaps this is the first time in my life,, i can answer all the structured questions without MUCH doubt. but to my horror, the last disgusting page was the bane of my life - 3-choose-2 bloody essay questions! none of the questions made sense to me except for the last... which i have previously mugged really hard.. yups photosynthesis.. but it includes the endosymbiotic theory which was totally out of this world... the first one.. about some weird enzyme screwing into a weird looking cell membrane and some weird amino acids and alpha helices,, rubbish... oh ya.. the second question was EXTRA TERRESTIAL!! cos it was about ALIENS (and i'm totally not in the mood to kid now).. yes, it was about asking you how to verify whether the DNA was really ALIEN or was it from other organisms.. you tell me about this.. the only thing i like about this question is that it was set by a bio teacher in NJ who was previously from HWA CHONG.. and that's it :) i could barely finish the first question as i started by doing the last question first, which i was quite prepared for.. (who would want ME to attempt that ALIEN question? an ALIEN? or ALIENA?) yups.. when i finally put my pants.. er.. i mean pen down.. and i looked up, my vision was totally blurred!!!!! my neck was aching.. my back was make weird squeaky noise.. yups.. if you have ever heard the poem "dulce est decorum" or something like that by Wilson Owen or Owen Wilson (really can't remember.. this was Sec 2 work. and this is the only poem i know best).. i was really like the soldiers.. "bent double".... or something like that.. haha.. haha.. hahahaha....
as soon as i reached home and bathed, i lied down on my bed and i suddenly realised that my left vision is predominantly red and the other predominantly green.. i.e. i left eye see more green colour of the environment.. the other red... am i "evolving" to have this phenotype? Charles Darwin , what do you think?
well i guess it's because i have been mugging too hard for the past few weeks.. anyway, i will play like MAD after promos.. i'm going to TTBB, NJchoir, rioHC, 6a and 7a.. Nj and Hc.. and open day. and start planning for my holiday!!! ahah.. definitely not going to start mugging for next year's common test 1..
